Battelle’s Chemical Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) Defense Group has received two contracts, totalling $192m, to provide mission support services to the US Army.

Valued at $42m, the first contract requires the company to support the tasks performed by the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center, Warfighter Directorate over a period of five years.

It covers advanced technology development and integration of personal protective equipment, energy generation and storage, man-portable nano-unmanned aerial systems, infrared night vision sensing capabilities, and chemical and biological protection. Continue reading.
