London: High street evacuated after unexploded WW2 BOMB discovered in Shoreditch


A busy London high street has been evacuated after an unexploded World War Two bomb was allegedly discovered.

Shoreditch High street has been closed off at the junction by Shoreditch church this morning after police reportedly found a supcious device.

Police are at the scene to investigate the bomb scare and shops have been evacuated. Bomb squad trucks were also called to deal with the potentially explosive device shortly after 9am today while police continue to usher passersby away from the scene. Continue reading.
