Kärcher Futuretech has developed a new compact flow water heater for mobile application. The compact design and low weight of the hot water module HWM 100t makes it fast and easy to transport. It is capable of heating up to 3,000 litres of water an hour and maintaining the water constantly at any set temperature. This ensures the efficient supply of hot water to showers for personal decontamination.
With its compact dimensions of 96 x 60 x 80 cm (L x W x H), the module requires a minimum of space both for transportation and deployment. It weighs just 160 kg and can be carried by a team of four. Casters mounted on the frame and fold-up handles simplify transportation, which can be performed by a single person over paved or firm surfaces.
The required water temperature of up to 45°C is adjusted using a regulator, and remains constant even when using several connecting shower systems. The system fulfils the stipulations of the German Drinking Water Ordinance TrinkwasserV 2001 and the WHO. This ensures that water passing through the heater is of drinking water quality and suitable for personal decontamination purposes.
The compact flow water heater operates with the utmost reliability. Its minimal energy requirement can be covered using diesel, fuel oil or kerosene. Chemical-free self-disinfection of the device can be performed even by untrained personnel with the simple press of a button.
The HWM 100 can be connected to suitable shower systems for personal decontamination. Even where a large number of shower heads are connected, the temperature remains constant.
Thanks to its compact design and the casters mounted on the frame, the module is highly mobile.
